How has working at Katz impacted your career?
Katz Media was my second job out of college. I'll be here at the company for 20 years in September. Not many people stay at one company for as long as I have. I have had the opportunity to work in three different divisions within Katz. From CIS to Corporate to now Eastman, one thing remains the same - the people. I get to work with some great people every day. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with people who have held various positions from CEO’s, station owners to sales assistant/account coordinator. Also, I don’t think there are many companies where you have the opportunity to engage with senior leadership.
Administrative professionals know all of the best tips, tricks and shortcuts to getting things done in an organization. Can you share one with the Katz community?
Best tip to get things done: always be nice to people. Sometimes as the saying goes, you have to kill them with kindness. Also, don’t be afraid to ask your co-workers for help. You never know what you can learn from someone else.
