How has working at Katz impacted your career?

The impact that Katz has had in my career is far beyond words can say. I started off as a Sales Assistant 21 years ago and worked my way up to the position that I’m currently in today. Throughout the year’s Katz has allowed me to grow as an individual. I’ve learned what it takes to be an effective manager, leader and mentor. By keeping an open mind, listening, learning, being productive and efficient along with staying positive not only impacts my career within the company but life in general.

What advice would you give women entering the workforce now?

For those women entering the work force now my advice would be to set a realistic goal for yourself, dedicate your time to it until you have accomplished it then set another goal to reach. Do that throughout your life and look back to see how much you’ve grown. You choose your own destiny; everyone else is just along for the ride until you’ve reached your destination

Who or what is inspiring to you?

My family has inspired me. My Mom and Dad always taught me the value of hard work and how an individual needs to start from the bottom up in order to fully see the big picture and succeed. When I say succeed I don’t mean rich and famous but to be rich in family love, happy and content with what you have in life and the goals that you’ve have personally achieved. My sister inspired me to be strong and independent. My husband inspires me to never stop learning and my 23 year old son inspires me to be a great mom.

What attribute or skill has helped you the most in your career?

I would say my personality. I love getting to know people and throughout my time here I’ve gotten the pleasure of experiencing so many different personalities which helps as a manager.
