Barbara Rossi is the Director of Telecom in CIS in our New York office. Barbara is the go to leader in CIS for all things telco (phone systems, cellular, wiring, and circuits). It’s her balance of technical knowledge, organization, multitasking, and positive spirit that helps keep the communications flowing at Katz.
How has working at Katz impacted your career?

Katz has given me the opportunity to meet and work with fantastic people and build relationships that inspire me to do my best. Its something that I never get tired because every day there is something new to learn. |
What advice would you give women entering the workforce now?

To always keep a positive attitude. If you give yourself your best, everyday, your best will give back to you!! |
Share a "fun fact" about yourself?

my fun fact is that I enjoy gardening and baking. And of course shopping for bargins. |
Who or what is inspiring to you?
|
My coworkers have always been my source of inspiration. they are knowledgeable people who don't mind offering their help to help me do a better job. I've also been fortunate to have great bosses who believe in me and trust in the work I do. |
What attribute or skill has helped you the most in your career?

Listening. I think its important to listen to what people have to say and to understand what they are saying. it helps me to better understand what their issues are and enables me to help them rectify their problem. By listening you become engaged in their issues and I truly believe people appreciate that. |
