Kathryn Sardinsky is Sales Manager at Katz TV Group. Kathryn joined Katz in 2007 as a Sales Assistant and with her talent, drive, and skill set quickly earned her an opportunity to join the Sales Training Program in 2009. In 2013, Kathryn was promoted to Sales Manager for the newly formed Ad Sales Operations division. Since her promotion Kathryn has been one of the divisions main architects in its development. Her leadership, enthusiasm, and knowledge of the unwired network business has made her an enormous contributor to its success.
How has working at Katz impacted your career?
I started my career at Katz after college & have had the opportunity to take on different roles throughout my years here. I have worked as a Sales Assistant, AE, & Manager in the NY & DC offices. Each experience has taught me different lessons which I have used to help shape professional I am today. I have also met great people along the way that have all been very supportive.
What advice would you give women entering the workforce now?
Never take the basics for granted. They are the building blocks to help you succeed long term. Also find a mentor, and when it is time, give back and become one.
Share a "fun fact" about yourself!
My Mom works for an airline which allowed us to travel a lot while growing up. I have been to Hawaii about 15 times & have been able to take "quick trips" to Europe over the years. I love to fly so I do not mind the traveling part even for a short stay. Now I just need to get my husband to love flying as much as I do!
Who or what is inspiring to you?
My parents. They raised 4 daughters and we all share a very strong work ethic. I started my first job in middle school & have held some type of job ever since. Thanks to their support I did so while balancing school, sports, & a social life. They made sure we knew it was important to work hard, but to also enjoy your life!
What attribute or skill has helped you the most in your career?
I am very analytical & my knowledge of "the details" has invoked a lot of confidence from the clients I work with.
